Several years prior to retirement, I decided to run for school committee as soon as retirement would allow me to. I have extensive experience in, and an extensive knowledge base of, the Salem Public Schools. I worked as a teacher, a coach, and an administrator for the Salem schools for 42 years. I am a team player. I am just completing my first four year term. |
| I am running for a second term to hopefully use my recent experience on the school committee along with that prior experience, that knowledge base, and that co-operative team approach, to continue to support our schools as they become again the great places for students to grow and learn, and the professionally challenging yet rewarding places for staff to work, that I knew them to be in the past, and that I know they will again be. |
| I look forward to continuing to work with the SPS community as it moves forward, embracing challenges as possibilities, not problems. |
